Urban Hoedown at Riverview Landing

September 5, 2012 By Kevin Ekmark

Mark your calendar for great food, a good cause, and the “Southern Gothic” tunes from the Constellations at the Riverview Landing’s 2nd Annual Fall Festival.

Friday Info

The fall festival includes 2 days of fun, with Friday night activities bringing in the biggest crowd. Riverview Landing, an emerging community found around the Chattahoochee River, is opening up the festival on Friday, September 28, 2012, with multiple bands, hot air balloon rides, bonefires and more.

In terms of tunes, you can look forward to Sealions, Turf War, and of course, the Constellations.

For licking your lips, get ready for some food induced coma’s. Riverview Landing will have a few of Atlanta’s favorites including King of Pops and Mixed Up. The Atlanta BBQ Club will be serving up a few local flavors from various smokehouses from Atlanta and they might even have a few local brews to go with it.

Saturday Events

Saturday fun at Riverview Landing goes from 10am to 5pm. While you’re there, grab your wet naps, because on Saturday there will be more than 40 vendors ready to serve YOU for a “people’s choice” barbecue contest. Live music will still be going on throughout the day.

Looking for tickets?

If you’re looking for tickets to the Urban Hoedown, then you can click on the banner to the right (until the end of the event) or you can find your tickets on Ticket Alternative for only $10.

There’s a BBQ club in Atlanta? Wow, the big city has everything! I’m truly impressed.

    Really.
