The South Enjoys a Winter Wonderland

December 9, 2017 By Kevin Ekmark

All across the South, people grabbed their iPhones and started snapping pictures and filming themselves catching snow in slo-mo while celebrating an early snow. For many, this was the first snow that they had seen in years!

Some areas of the South, like Virginia and Georgia, saw accumulations of 6 to 9 inches. If you’re keeping track of precipitation across the United States this season, that’s already 3″ more than Denver!

Here are some awesome moments shared across the South, as they enjoy the winter storm and a 3 day weekend. Bless y’alls’ hearts.

Every snow often, your neighbors make the greatest friends! ❄️?☃️

Good news everybody, we made it to the store before the roads completely froze over to get stocked up on blizzard essentials. They were already out of bread and milk when we got there so we settled for beer. Ralph approves. #beerrun #snowpocalypse #chubbies #goodboy

Bah humbug. Wonderful sight when you know it is not staying. Here in MI it is snowing and thus it shall be until spring.
